Last updated: April 14, 2026
Overview
If you need to temporarily stop receiving referrals — for example, because you've reached staffing capacity — you can turn your availability off in Found at any time. This immediately stops new referrals from being sent to you until you're ready to resume.
How to pause your enquiries
Log in to Found
Navigate to the Locations tab on the left hand side
Toggle your Availability OFF
No further referrals will be sent while your availability is off.
Turning enquiries back on
When you're ready to receive referrals again:
Go to the Locations tab in Found
Toggle your availability on
Referrals will resume immediately.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Will I be charged for any referrals received before I turned availability off? A: Yes. Any referrals received prior to pausing your availability are chargeable as normal.
Q: Does pausing my availability affect my monthly cap? A: No. Your monthly cap remains in place. Pausing availability simply stops new referrals from being sent — it does not reset or change your cap.
Q: Can I pause enquiries for a specific branch only? A: Yes. Availability can be managed per location in the Locations tab, so you can pause individual branches without affecting others.
Q: Is there a limit to how long I can pause my enquiries? A: No. You can leave your availability off for as long as needed and turn it back on whenever you're ready, however we suggest no longer that 3 months.
Q: What's the difference between pausing availability and adjusting my monthly cap? A: Pausing availability stops all referrals immediately, regardless of your cap. Adjusting your monthly cap controls how many referrals you receive over the course of the month. Use availability toggle for immediate stops, and the monthly cap for longer-term volume control.
